We are a design-led contractor. That means we build to drawings with care and precision, and it means we can carry a project from a first idea through planning and listed building consent to a finished house, with one team accountable throughout.
Most of our work is in central London’s period housing: Georgian and Victorian terraces, mansion flats, mews houses and listed buildings in conservation areas. We know how these buildings were put together, what the planners and conservation officers will ask, and how to add a basement, an extension or a new roof without losing what made the house worth keeping.

Four things we do particularly well
01 — Heritage
Listed buildings and conservation areas
Sensitive repair, alteration and extension of listed and period houses. We prepare for and work within listed building consent, match historic fabric and detail, and reinstate what has been lost, so the house reads as one piece when we leave.
02 — Refurbishment
Whole-house refurbishment
Full refurbishment of houses and apartments, from re-planning the layout and renewing services to bespoke joinery, kitchens, bathrooms and finishes. One contract, one programme, one point of contact.
03 — Extend
Extensions, basements and roofs
Rear and side extensions, new basements, loft conversions and mansard roofs. We handle the structure, the party wall process and the planning conditions, and we build so that the new work sits naturally with the old.
04 — New build
Bespoke new homes
New houses built from the ground up, including replacement dwellings on tight urban plots. Cost certainty from the start, a fixed programme, and the same care in the finish that we bring to a listed interior.
For architects and designers
We build your design the way you drew it
A good building needs a contractor who reads the drawings properly, prices them honestly and protects the design intent on site. That is the relationship we want with the architects and interior designers we work with.
We price from tender packages or work with you at pre-construction to get a scheme buildable within budget before it is fixed. On site we run the programme, coordinate specialist trades and consultants, manage the party wall, planning and listed building conditions, and keep you and your client informed without needing to be chased.

Consult
We start with the house and the brief: a site visit, an honest conversation about budget and programme, and a clear view of what planning, listed building consent or party wall matters will be involved.

Design
Working with your architect and designer, or with ours, we develop a fully costed, buildable scheme and secure the approvals, so nothing is left to be discovered on site.
03
Build
A fixed programme, a dedicated site manager, our own trades and long-standing specialists, and a standard of finish that is checked room by room before we hand over.
